Does the cover of a book affect whether you are more willing to read it?

My answer

It does for me.  I know you should not judge a book by it's cover but I do!  I love a great cover and that it what draws me in first.  I have read really good books that I didn't care for the cover though.  So I do read the summary if it's something I think I will like.

    A nice cover can make me pick up a book for a closer look, although it's never the deciding factor in whether I will read it. Like you, I have read some really good books with not so attractive covers. I hope you have a great weekend!

    For authors I enjoy I don't pay any attention to the cover, but a good image is enough to make me read the blurb and reviews. Those are what really sell a book to me.

    The cover is the first thing I see so yeah, it does for me too.
