Bryce is seeking retribution for the slaughter of his family. Running his blade through Hellsfire is the only way to fill the empty hole in his heart. He failed before. He won’t fail again.

Eager to explore her blossoming powers, Alyssa receives a vision from the gods telling her to go to Hellsfire. He may be the only one who can teach her to harness her magic. With no family ties, she’s ready to leave the only home she’s ever known to rescue a man she barely knows.

Hellsfire still has a crucial role to play in the fate of the realm—if he survives and remembers who he is. Will he regain his powers and his sense of purpose before it’s too late?

My Review

Eternal Darkness is one of those books that I just didn't want to stop reading.  It is fast paced, full of  action and suspense with some romance added in.

Hellsfire the wizard is no more but is now the mortal Quinn.  Once he reaches Kashera things do not goes at all as planned.  After some misunderstanding to begin Quinn meets an uncle that he had not idea existed.  His Uncle Hayden has no idea that Quinn was once the wizard Hellsfire.  Bryce has a revenge mission, to kill Hellsfire once and for all for killing his family.  Alyssa has a mission of her own, to find Hellsfire and have him teach her how to harness her magic.

They will all start out on their own but eventually will all find their selves in the same city.  When their stories start to interact with one another is when the story goes from really good to great.

There is so much action and suspense throughout the story.  I really liked all the characters even the ones that were supposed to be the villains in their own way.  Jewels was one of my favorite's in this installment.  She is a bit of a wild one but also a peacekeeper at times.  We are left with quite a large cliffhanger ending.  I was quite shocked to say the least.  I was like no, this cannot be the end, I need to know what happens!  Overall a great read.  I can't wait to find out what happens next.  I highly recommend this book and this series.
