My answer

I don't have blog posts suggesting new authors.  But I do think that by posting about books, authors and reviewing books that I am suggesting authors to readers on my blog and social media.

    I leave suggestions on Facebook reading groups so I recommend books rather than authors.

    Sometimes I think I do, although not explicitly, because it feels like I read different authors to everyone else.
