Are any of your bookcases buckling under the weight of too many books?

My answer
I do have a bookcase that is not real wood and yes that shelves are bucking a bit. I need more bookshelves but just don't have the space. That is why I love my kindle, I can put so many more books on there than I can my bookshelves.
I considered moving my library to my Kindle. I do have a lot of ebooks, but I love my physical ones too. Right now, I'm lucky enough to have room for them. That may not always be the case, though.

I have a Kindle too but there is just something about a physical book. I love having both!

I do too. I have multiple bookshelves but I also have a lot of e-books too!
DeleteI've just moved into a new house with more space, so I've been able to buy a couple more new bookshelves, they're slightly less crammed but some of them definitely need replacing - they're cheap ones, the backs and shelves are bowing and they're covered in book, knickknacks and fairy lights. I'm working on converting one of my spare rooms into a library room and it's wonderful!

DeleteI have three bookcases which are jam pack with books. There no signs of the shelves bending. One bookcase I had sine I was a kid and it lasted pass two bookcases I used to have and there no sign of it falling apart.
