What was your favorite genre to read as a child? Do you still read that genre, or do you read something else now?

My answer

When I was a small child I would read kid's books, like the golden books.  When I got to be a bit older I started to read the Babysitter's Club books.  Then I started reading mysteries which then turned into paranormal and fantasy books.  I still read paranormal, fantasy and some mysteries along with other genres of books.

    I never really had a favorite genre as a child, I chose to explore all genres then. Today I am the same way I suppose, I like so many different genres. I do tend to gear towards the psychological thriller genre lately. But I try to make myself go out of my comfort zone and try something new, but it is hard for me.

    Golden books! I forgot about those. I read a lot of those too when I was a child. I never read the Babysitter's Club books, but my daughter has enjoyed the graphic novel versions that came out more recently. Thank you for sharing! Have a great weekend!

      I didn't know about the graphic novel versions of the series. But yes the original series was a favorite of mine!
