Vampires, Slayers and…FAIRIES? Sunny and Rayne McDonald are about to get SCHOOLED.

After their parents’ shocking revelation about their fae heritage and an attack on their lives, the McDonald twins find themselves on the run—forced to hide out at Riverdale Academy , a boarding school for vampire slayers, deep in the Swiss Alps. With no cells, no internet, and no way to contact their vampire boyfriends—the twins are on their own.

Being a vampire stuck in a school full of slayers isn’t easy. Especially with no blood substitute stocked on campus. Soon Rayne finds herself succumbing to her bloodlust and losing control—especially around the arrogant, but devastatingly handsome Corbin Billingsworth the Third—who isn’t sure whether he wants to kiss her…or kill her.

But when Sunny starts acting strange, Rayne realizes Riverdale Academy may be hiding some deadly secrets of its own—leading to a showdown in Fairyland that may cost the twins their lives.

My Review

Night School is such a great read and I really enjoyed reading it. I couldn't put it down, I never knew what was going to happen next. With lots of twists and turns you will be on the edge of your seat reading this book. This book and series is so much fun to read!

Night School picks up where Bad Blood left off. Rayne and Sunny find out that they are faeries and not just faeries but royal ones. They are told that the Light Court in Fairyland is searching for them and that Sunny is to be the new faerie queen. They find out the real story about their parents and their stepmom Heather. They are just trying to keep the Light Court from finding the twins and taking them back to Fairyland. However something happens before any of this can take place and the twins are transported to Riverdale Academy, a boarding school for slayers in a remote location in the Swiss Alps.

Rayne and Sunny are definietly not happy when they find out that they are hidden in the school for slayers. They have no access to their family, friends or their boyfriends. They must learn to adapt to their new surroundings and figure out a way to get out of there at the same time. It's not easy when there is no blood substitute for Rayne and with Sunny just wanting to remain a normal human. Then there is Corbin and his friends. They are the best slayers at Riverdale Academy. Rayne has to deal with Corbin and her attraction to him and also figure out why all of the sudden Sunny is acting very strange and not like herself at all. And what about Night School, a building on campus where the elite slayers train or do they?

I enjoyed reading Night School from beginning to end. I was surprised by what happened in about the second half of the book. I liked how the author changed up the story a bit and we see Rayne and Sunny not just as vampire/vampire slayer and human but also as something else.

I recommend reading this book and this series if you have not already. I can't wait to read the next book and see where the story takes me this time.
