My Review
Resolved is set about 9 years after Determined ended. I loved this book in what is such a great series! I was looking forward to what would happen after all the had happened in the previous book. The author did not disappoint and you won't want to miss out on reading this installment. It is so good!
Siobhan has been left as a single parent after Hest left in the previous book. It has been years and no one has seen or heard from him. Siobhan and Hest's ten year old daughter Mairead keeps asking about her father. She has heard things and wants to know who he was as a person not just a dragon king. Kyeth is the cannonsea of the place. Hest wanted him to take care of Siobhan and Mairead. He has been like a father figure in Mairead life for years now. Siobhan and Kyeth have grown closer over the years but will it turn into a romance or will they keep their feelings at bay? Then with war eminent with surrounding areas Siobhan just has one more thing to worry about. She wants to keep her people and her daughter away from war but there is only so much a queen can do.
I loved this book and as I said this is such a great series! I enjoyed reading every page and I really like the characters. The author did such a great job with the plot and all the things that have changed throughout the series. There is so much action, suspense and a tiny bit of romance. I was left shocked with what happened when the book ended. I am hoping that things are revealed in the next one to explain why everything happened the way it did. I was on the edge of my seat while reading this page turner. Then the author leaves us with quite a shocking cliffhanger ending. I can't wait to see what happens next in this amazing series!
