My Review

The Trillias Gambit is the third book in this series. The book grabs you from the beginning and doesn't let go until the very end. You are left feeling like you just got off a roller coaster and you want to jump back on or in this case into the next book as soon as it is released.

Daemus and his friends are on a journey to the Devil's Horn to find the Tome Of Enlightement. What they don't expect is to find themselves in a labyrinth made from a God. They have quite the adventure throughout the story. I really enjoyed Daemus and Katja and how their relationship is growing.

My other favorite characters are Princess Addilyn and Ritter. I love these two. They are both so determined and don't back down to anyone or anything. I also enjoyed how their relationship has progressed throughout the series, not to fast and not too slow. A character that I previously didn't like until this book is Incanus, the bone elf assassin. The author gave us his backstory and it is not what I expected at all. I really felt for him and started to enjoy him and his imp's story. I loved the magical boat too.

I could go on and on about all the different characters because they all have their own unique story to tell. Yes, there are a lot of characters in this series but the author did a great job of keeping the story going and keeping the characters separate but together at the same time. They are a connected just in different parts of the realm.

There is so much action, suspense, adventure and some romance thrown in that I didn't want to put the book (kindle) down. I felt like I was on so many different journeys with the characters and I was on the edge of the seat most of the time. There were times when the author gave the characters a minute to catch their breath. It was so much fun to read and I can't wait for the next book to be released! This e-book was provided to me for review. This did not affect my review in any way.
