Summary – From Goodreads
The visions aren’t stopping, and neither is the danger in this series conclusion from the New York Times bestselling author of the Wake trilogy.
After narrowly surviving two harrowing tragedies, Jules now fully understands the importance of the visions that she and those around her are experiencing. She’s convinced that if the vision curse passed from her to Sawyer after she saved him, then it must now have passed from Sawyer to one of the people he saved.
That means it’s up to Jules to figure out which of the school shooting survivors is now suffering from visions of another crisis. And once she realizes who it is, she has to convince that survivor that this isn’t all crazy—that the images are of something real. Something imminent.
As the danger escalates in this conclusion to the Visions series, Jules wonders if she’ll finally find out why and how this is happening—before it’s too late to prevent disaster.
My Review
Gasp is the conclusion to the fun and interesting Visions trilogy. All three books were fun to read and the story was interesting.
It's been a week since the last book ended and well things haven't really calmed down much for the characters. Trey is recovering from being shot and has a new guy in his life, Jules and Sawyer are trying to figure out who will have the next vision. Rowen is just being her fun and spunky self.
Once they find out who the person is that is having visions Jules, her family and friends decide to help them figure out the vision but things don't always go the way they want. When one vision doesn't go as planned they want to give up until they find out there is another one that is even worse. They will once again risk their lives to save others. If the visions aren't enough to deal with Jules and her family experience another loss. Will it all be too much to deal with or will they overcome all the obstacles standing in their way.
I love Jules and Sawyer, they make me laugh at their new romance. I also enjoyed getting a glimpse of Trey and Ben's relationship. After all the drama in the first two books it was nice to see some of the more dramatic characters start to calm down some and become normal functioning people again. While I would love if there was more books in the trilogy I was happy with how the author ended the story. I will continue to read books by this author, she writes amazing stories!
