Meanwhile, retired royal guard Rolft Aerns returns to the palace of King Axil with an old score to settle. My Review

Six Moons, Seven Gods is a unique fantasy that will draw you in from the beginning and leave you surprised by the end. It is such a good read and a real page turner. There is so much excitement and action that you will not want to put it down.

King Axil has had so much heartbreak lately and now there is someone who wants him dead. His royal guards are trying to keep him safe and figure out who is out to murder him. When along comes a familiar woman and her daughter who have some interesting things to tell him. Mari Dunn and her daughter Sibil are friends of the king and his late daughter. When Mari starts seeing visions of an assassin and attempts on the king's life she and her daughter head to the castle. All the while there are so many other characters that are out to kill each other and settle some scores.

There are a lot of characters in this book. It took me a while to get everyone figured out, like what characters are friends, which ones belong with the Guild and who is part of the royal guard and castle. Once I got more into the book I couldn't put it down, it's so good. The author has different characters tell the story so we get so many different viewpoints throughout. There is a lot of violence, action and suspense. It seems like you are on a never ending roller coaster as the action is non stop. I really enjoyed the characters and some of my favorites are Mari, Sibil, Erik Carson and Reynard.

It is so well written and there is more to the book than just action and suspense. It has heartwarming moments, a romance that could be brewing soon and so much more. The ending will leave you with a surprising turn of events. I am looking forward to reading the next book in this series. This e-book was provided to me for review. It did not affect my review in any way.
