My Review

Enchanted Bonds: Rise of the Shadow Prophecy is a fast paced fantasy novel.  The story flows along at a nice pace.  It is filled with non stop action, magic and a bit of romance.

The author built a fantasy world that was detailed, filled with magical runes and different creatures along the way.

Elara is a powerful sorceress who has lost her family and keeps to herself.  Ronan is a tough warrior who has been cursed.  They are both summoned by a mysterious being to be involved in an ancient prophecy.  Together they will have to learn to trust each other and work together to fight against the dark magic and the Warden.  Along the way they meet two others who join them in their journey to defeat the Warden and bring back life to the land.

Elara and Ronan's relationship evolved very quickly but I liked them together.  Lira, I enjoyed her divine magic and Aedric, the mysterious ranger.  I loved all the magic, runes, battles and the friendships formed.  The ending leaves it open for a sequel so fingers crossed.  I am hoping that we learn more about the individual characters and more about their backgrounds.  Overall a fast paced fantasy that I think other fantasy book fans would enjoy!
