This week's question
What is your opinion on modern artists' interpretations of deceased authors such as Edgar Allan Poe, Louisa May Alcott, Charles Dickens, and Jane Austen? Do you think these interpretations represent the authors correctly, or do they disrespect the authors?

My Answer
I am not quite sure what this question is asking. If it is like an author writing something similar or maybe something like a retelling than no I don't think that it is disrespectful to the original author. I think modern authors that write retellings are writing the story their own way.
