Do you believe the education system needs to change its approach to teaching reading and literature to students?

My Answer
I honestly don't know what the education system teaches in the reading and literature categories. When I was in school I remember reading classic books which of most I did not enjoy. So in my opinion I would have preferred reading more modern books at the time.
Yeah I feel the same way. I ask my grandson if he's being taught this or that and he has no idea what I'm talking about.

DeleteYes the classics can be hard. I enjoyed dissecting them in class, but it put me off reading them by myself because I could never see what the teacher saw.
